Parvo Emergency Tea – What It Is, And What It Is Not
March 5, 2010Mike
The Canine Parvovirus oftentimes attacks at the least opportune time (not that there’s ever a good time for your pup to be attacked by the Canine Parvovirus, of course) – you may find it’s 3:00am in the early hours of a Sunday morning, and the vet’s center is closed.
So, what options do you have?
You may currently know that pups suffering from Parvo will probably dehydrate really fast, which is the reason veterinarians will put them on an IV drip, but of course intravenous drips aren’t items you could just find at Walmart.
And when you do not know about the risks of dehydration, a fast bit of research using the web will soon point you in the right direction.
The good news is that there is a home hydration therapy that is, in the vast majority of cases, at least as effective as intravenous fluids and even SubQ fluids …
… and it’s known as the Parvo Emergency Tea Recipe.
What exactly is it?
It’s something you can make in the home, utilizing ingredients you are able to pick up at most sizable grocery stores and/or drug stores, and it is made to accomplish a few different jobs.
First of all, it is a natural electrolyte liquid that can prevent your suffering pup from getting dehydrated. (We know people, among them veterinarians, are likely to advise administering Pedialyte or Gatorade for this, yet unfortunately our own experience shows that these two items may cause additional vomiting, and that is the last thing you want if your puppy has got the Canine Parvo virus.)
Second, it may really help to reduce any throwing up – without any chemical-based medicines that could induce, of course, even more health problems.
Third, some of the herbs in the Parvo Emergency Tea might help enhance your doggie’s immune system, which will undoubtedly be under heavy attack from the Parvo virus.
Now, there are several things that you must know about this emergency tea, the most crucial of which is that you have to administer it each and every hour, and this does indeed include both night and day, until such time as you can start the full Parvo treatment.
In reality, you’re basically acting like a human intravenous drip, and one of the keys to treating the Canine Parvovirus is to administer smallish quantities of liquid frequently – mainly because not only is dehydration a danger with this virus, but so is overhydration too.
But a lot more vital than that, you must realise that the Parvo Emergency Tea is NOT intended treat the Canine Parvo virus – although it does indeed endeavor to simulate the Parvaid product using only easily-available ingredients, it’s not even close to being potent enough to treat your sick pet.
You must therefore NOT depend on this tea recipe for getting your sick puppy better again – it is made to buy you precious time and sustain him until you can get proper treatments up and running (and we do, of course, highly recommend the Parvo Treatment Kit).
While it is true that a very small number of pet dogs do manage to survive utilising only the Parvo Tea (including a ton of TLC), we’ve observed this occurs in about 0.1% of cases – and that is about one pet out of every 1,000!
Are you prepared to bet that your family dog is the single fortunate pet in a thousand?
We know we wouldn’t – our dogs really are way too special to us.
As a result, although we’d definitely encourage you to make and then administer the Parvo Emergency Tea as soon as you become aware of any of the traditional Canine Parvo virus symptoms (i.e. not eating, not drinking, not playing / being lethargic, dehydration, depression, vomiting, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever or chills), please, for the sake of your pet, be sure you get him treated straight away!
One of our customers had a doggy which passed away no more than five hours following the first bout of diarrhea, which shows just how hostile the Canine Parvovirus has become. This really is so speedy that you hardly have enough time to react, and this is one of the reasons why we highly encourage all dog owners to have a Home Parvo Treatment Kit around at all times – just in case.
